In British Columbia, consultation with a medical specialist requires a formal referral from a family physician, specialist, or nurse practitioner. This protocol ensures that your visit is covered under the Medical Services Plan (MSP).
Please arrange for your primary care provider to fax a referral request to our clinic.
Upon receipt and review of your referral, our office will contact you to schedule an appointment. Wait times for non-urgent consultations generally range between 1 to 3 months. However, urgent matters, such as suspected lung malignancies, are prioritized for expedited scheduling.
